As a Category Manager at Agiliss Ltd, you will take ownership of a portfolio of product categories. You will lead the category strategy, drive profitable growth, enhance brand performance, and strengthen market position. This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, data analysis, product knowledge, supplier collaboration, and cross-functional coordination to deliver sustainable business results.
2. Key Responsibilities:
2.1 Category Strategy & Business Planning
Develop and implement long-term category strategies aligned with Agiliss’ commercial goals and market trends.
Lead annual planning and quarterly reviews, setting clear objectives for category sales, market share, and profitability.
2.2 Sales Forecasting & Demand Planning
Use sales data, market intelligence, and promotional input to generate accurate forecasts.
Work closely with the supply chain, sales, and finance to ensure forecast accuracy and product availability.
2.3 Product Portfolio Management
Optimize the product range through SKU rationalization, pricing strategy, and performance analysis.
Identify gaps and opportunities to expand the category, ensuring relevance to consumer needs and market evolution.
2.4 Promotion & Trade Marketing
Plan and oversee consumer and trade promotions in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.
Monitor ROI on campaigns and refine promotional calendars based on market responsiveness.
2.5 Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer insights.
Make data-driven recommendations to protect market share and unlock growth opportunities.
2.6 Supplier & Brand Management
Build strong partnerships with suppliers and brand principals.
Negotiate trading terms, promotional funding, and new product introductions in line with Agiliss’ commercial strategy.
2.7 New Product Development & Launches
Collaborate with suppliers, sales, and marketing teams to successfully introduce new products.
Support product development initiatives with market feedback and category performance data.
